Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

In the midst of our Lenten journey, and in response to widespread longing among us to worship with others in our beautiful church, I’m pleased to share good news.

This Sunday, March 14th at 9:30 am, with diocesan approval, we will resume in-person attendance at Mass. It is necessary to limit the number of people attending, as required by the State of Delaware, and so we will continue to offer Sunday Mass as a recorded service as well.

In order to comply with State guidelines and our own plan for re-gathering, we ask all who wish to attend in-person to reserve seats in advance. You can do that by filling out this online registration form.

As we begin this next phase of our corporate life, we ask each person attending to help us keep our church community safe by observing the following guidelines before, during, and after the service:

• ·         Temperatures will be taken electronically at the door
• ·         Ushers will seat you, invite you to a communion station at the appropriate time, and dismiss you following Mass.
• ·         Reception of the Sacrament will be in one kind only (the host/bread) at two communion stations.
• ·         Masks must be worn at all times except when receiving the Eucharist; if you have forgotten a mask, a disposable one will be provided.
• ·         Use of hand sanitizer is encouraged –liquid sanitizer stations will be provided for your convenience.
• ·         Please observe physical distancing between members of different households.
• ·         Bulletins will be available to print at home prior to the liturgy. Bulletins will also be available at the church for those who need them.
• ·         Offering plates will be located near the doors inside the Nave.

Ushers will be available to assist you with any questions or concerns. I look forward to seeing many of you in your church again, and trust that this is just the beginning of a renewed sense of community which I know we have all missed very, very much over the last year.
